Commonly found in the folds of linen that wrapped mummies, the heart amulets were part of the process by which the spirit of the dead were translated into the otherworld
.
They vary in size but measure approximately from 18 to 25mm. There is a 2.2mm hole through them vertically, ideal for transforming them into pendants.
