 The Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Sarre in Kent is a wonderful resource for beads.  The finds from there show a wide range of bead types and also the quantity of beads per grave varies widely.

This is a reproduction of a set of  beads from Grave 39, with a fused pair of swag beads, two in an opaque lapis blue glass as well as a single swag bead and black melon bead.
