The Shepherd's Crown
Anglo-Saxon glass gaming piece or amulet found in Linconshire
The glass piece is believed to be either a gaming piece or amulet. The flat edges without decoration indicate that the piece was possibly set in a mount to mimic the original fossils which have been found set in silver.
They are individually handmade and will vary in size from approximately 28mm to 30mm.
