Each bead is approximately 20-25mm in diameter, but will vary as they are individually handmade. The hole is 5mm.
Viking-era glass beads based on finds from the Oslo Museum, these lampworked beads have been created using the traditional method of winding layers of molten glass around a mandrel (metal rod) and then decorating the bead with additional molten glass cables, created by melting layers of contrasting glass and pulling it into a twisted length.
These reproduction beads are made on a 2.2mm mandrel, and will easily fit on 2mm cord. They average approximately 10x15mm but will vary as each bead is individually handmade.
They are fully annealed and cleaned before being made available for sale.
