Possibly the goofiest gamepiece, this is the kingpiece from Birka grave 750. The base is slightly rectangular, about 18 x 16 but varies as each piece is handmade. The jaunty crown/halo really sets off his rather snowman-like face.
Here he is with a group of gaming pieces. The pieces found in Grave 750 are all undecorated, just a plain light blue or cobalt blue. These pieces are available in their own listing.
